The BRIDE of CHRIST

Seminaries and Bible Schools have used perverted teachings of men (see MK 7:13) for so long that the teaching today about the rapture and the Bride of Christ is mostly legendary without any relationship to the Word of God.

How is a mystery of the Word of God revealed?  The Holy Ghost opens our understanding of the Word in many different places of the Scriptures and brings them together in a divine order.  "Whom shall He teach knowledge? and whom shall He make to understand doctrine?  them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.  For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little."  Isaiah 28:9-10.

The Apostle Peter readily admitted that there were many mysteries of the Bible that are hard to understand.  "Even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the Wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; as also in his epistles, speaking in them of those things, in which are some thing hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest [distort], as they do the other Scriptures, unto their own destruction."  2ÿPeter 3:15-16

Tens of thousands of God's own people are being swept away from the true doctrines of the Bible by false teachers and false preachers preaching another gospel from the many perverted translations of God's true Word which are available today.  [see Jude 4 and Matthew 15:14, also 2 Corinthians 11:4]

The Church is the Body of Christ and we are members in particular, [see Colossians 1:18 and 1 Corinthians 12:27] but He will not wed His own Body, the Church , but a remnant of the Church that is completely Holy, Spirit-filled. and does not love this present world, nor it's fashions and lusts.

For I am jealous over you with Godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.  But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 2 Cor. 11:2-3.

When God prepared a bride for Adam, called the Son of God, [see Luke 3:38], He caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam.  He took one of the ribs and closed up the flesh thereof, and made He a woman for Adam.  [see Genesis 2:21-41].

Just as the bride of Adam was taken from his body, so shall the Bride of Christ be taken from His Body.  And even though all believers are in the Body of Christ, not all will be in the Bride.  "For many are called, but few are chosen."  [Matthew 22:14]

"And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron...." [Revelation 2:26-27]

"Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years...."  [Revelation 20:26]

Ye are all children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.  Therefore let us not sleep, as do others: but let us watch and be sober. [1 Thess 5:5-6]
